BAD TITANS ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
Building All Dreams | BAD Rec • BAD Titans Academy • Titans Travel
Day by Day. Always Backed.
BAD Titans is committed to providing a safe, positive, respectful, and welcoming environment for every player, coach, volunteer, official, parent, and family.
We believe young athletes will make mistakes, experience strong emotions, and learn through competition. Our goal is to teach accountability, respect, discipline, and growth—not expect perfection.
However, certain behaviors have no place within our village.
ZERO TOLERANCE
BAD Titans has zero tolerance for: Hate Speech & Discrimination
Racial slurs, discriminatory language, hate speech, degrading comments, or targeting another person because of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, disability, or other protected status will not be tolerated.
This applies to players, coaches, parents, spectators, volunteers, and visitors.
Bullying & Harassment
Repeated intimidation, humiliation, threats, hazing, targeted harassment, or deliberately attempting to make another participant feel unsafe or unwelcome is prohibited.
This includes behavior occurring in person, online, through text messages, team chats, or social media.
Sexual Harassment & Inappropriate Conduct
Sexual comments, unwanted sexual behavior, inappropriate touching, sexual harassment, or other inappropriate conduct involving a player, coach, volunteer, parent, or participant is prohibited .
Any allegation involving the safety or welfare of a child will be taken seriously and handled according to applicable reporting requirements and BAD Titans safety procedures.
Threats & Intentional Harm
Credible threats of serious violence, intentionally attempting to seriously injure another person, bringing a weapon to a BAD Titans activity, or conduct creating an immediate danger to others will not be tolerated.
Abuse of Players
Coaches, volunteers, parents, and spectators may not physically, verbally, emotionally, or sexually abuse a player.
Coaching may be demanding. Competition may be intense. Abuse is never coaching.
Retaliation
No person may retaliate against a player, parent, coach, volunteer, or other individual for making a good-faith safety complaint or reporting prohibited conduct.
COMPETITION, CONFLICT & EMOTIONS
BAD Titans understands that soccer is competitive.
Players may become frustrated, argue, disagree, or react emotionally during competition. These situations are not automatically treated as zero-tolerance violations.
Coaches will use reasonable judgment to separate players when necessary, calm situations, teach conflict resolution, and determine appropriate consequences.
Players are expected to learn how to compete aggressively without deliberately trying to hurt someone.
PARENTS & SPECTATORS
Parents and spectators are expected to support the players and allow coaches and officials to manage the game.
Harassing players, threatening coaches or officials, directing discriminatory or abusive language toward anyone, or creating an unsafe environment may result in removal from the facility and additional disciplinary action.
COACHES & STAFF
BAD Titans coaches and staff are expected to model the standards we ask of our players.
Coaches must:
Treat every athlete with dignity and respect.
Never use humiliation as a coaching technique.
Intervene when prohibited conduct is observed.
Report serious safety concerns through the appropriate BAD Titans process.
Place player safety ahead of winning.
CONSEQUENCES
Zero tolerance does not mean every violation receives the exact same punishment.
BAD Titans may consider the seriousness of the conduct, player age, circumstances, prior incidents, safety concerns, and applicable league or governing-body requirements.
Consequences may include:
Warning → Parent/Player Conference → Temporary Removal → Suspension → Removal from the Program
Severe incidents may result in immediate suspension or removal legal action where necessary.
When appropriate or legally required, BAD Titans may also report an incident to the applicable league, governing organization, child-protection authority, or law-enforcement agency.
OUR PURPOSE
BAD Titans exists to build more than soccer players.
We want our athletes to become confident competitors, responsible teammates, leaders, and young people who understand that their actions affect the entire village.
We will give kids room to learn.
We will give kids room to make mistakes.
We will give kids opportunities to grow.
But hate, discrimination, harassment, abuse, and intentional serious harm have no place in our village.
DAY BY DAY. ALWAYS BACKED.
